I like to call myself a serious foodie! The thing that makes me the happiest in life are the things that I love to eat. These things can vary from day to day depending on my current mood. Seriously though, I can eat anything! If there’s a new restaurant that opens up and I have never been, I will try to go as soon as I can. I’m not the type of person that goes to a restaurant and gets the same things over and over. I want to branch out and try new things! You know what else? If I know I’m going on a trip somewhere, I’ll look up food network shows and see what places I can go try. Some of the best places I’ve found have been from those show Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives! For reals, if you’re headed on a trip, make sure you look up good places to eat before you go!
Now, I don’t go out to eat every day! That’s not very budget friendly. However, when I am wanting something good to eat at home, my go-to thing that is my most favorite foods are potatoes! I can eat potatoes in any shape or form. Roasted, baked, loaded, fried, Hasselbeck and anything else you can think of!
My husband always tells me that I make the best-roasted potatoes! I seem to believe him because anytime I make them, they are all gone!
Don’t these babies just look to die for? Well, they are SO good!! You’re super lucky today because I’m giving you my recipe!! These potatoes will go nicely with any main course you decide to make! These will only compliment the meal!
These potatoes are a winner with my husband and the kids every single time I make them! They are so flavorful and you will not want to stop eating them!
- 5 Large Russet Potatoes, peeled and chopped into bite-size chunks
- 1/4 Cup Olive Oil I know 1/4 CUP! Trust me!
- 2 TSP Salt
- 2 TSP Pepper
- 1/2 TBSP Paprika
- 2 TSP Garlic Powder
- 2 TSP Onion powder
Preheat the oven to 370 degrees
Place the chopped up potatoes in a 13 x 9 glass baking dish.
Throw in all the rest of the ingredients on top of the potatoes and use your hands to mix everything really well. Do not cover the pan!
Place the pan in the preheated oven for about 50 minutes. You will want to mix the potatoes halfway through so check your timer at the 25-minute mark so you can stir up the potatoes. When these bad boys are ready, they are going to be beautifully golden and crispy!
These are by far my most favorite way to eat potatoes. Baked potatoes are probably second and fries are third! I really hope you will give this recipe a try! I know you will love it as much as I do! You’ll definitely make these again and again!
