Every night when its time for dinner, my 6 year old always wants to know what we’re having. I’ll let him know, then the negotiations begin!
“Can I just eat the bread?”
“Can I just eat the meat?”
Like, seriously! Every night! You will eat what I put in front of you and that’s final! For the love!
When I figured out this slider recipe, I was pretty impressed at how much my boy liked it! I just made this for dinner last night and he ate 2 sliders!!
This recipe is super simple and it tastes so delicious! I am sure you and your family will absolutely love it!
Super easy kid friendly dinner that even the adults will LOVE!
- 1.5 LB Ground Beef You can use ground turkey here.
- 1 TBSP Garlic Powder
- 2 TBSP Worcestershire
- 2 tsp Salt
- 2 tsp Black Pepper
- 2 Bags Hawaiian Rolls
- 1 Large Onion Sliced for sauteing
Place the ground beef into a bowl. Add garlic powder, Worcestershire, salt and pepper. Mix meat up thoroughly.
Form small patties that are about the same size as the Hawaiian rolls. Maybe slightly bigger because they tend to shrink when cooking. Fry the patties in a pan, about 3 or 4 minutes on each side. You can add cheese to these if you prefer.
While the patties are cooking, take your sliced onion and start sauteing them until translucent in a separate pan.
When patties and onions are all ready, it is time to assemble the sliders. What I do is put Best Foods mayo on the Hawaiian rolls, put on a beef patty then top with sauteed onions.
It is very important that you use Best Foods mayo in this recipe. Miracle whip will not work. This is savory and the Best Foods Mayo just gives an extra something that you can't substitute.
I promise, you will love this recipe. So far whoever I make this for loves it!
